Give Us Your Best Shot!

Do you have great photos of the children in your program that you’d like to share?  We’d like to include photos from Alameda County child care programs in our agency newsletter - CCL News.

Guidelines are as follows

  • Submit your photos either by mail or digital copy by e-mail
    (Color or B/W)

  • Include: name of program, contact person and phone number. If you wish for it to be included, the name and age of the children in the photo

  • You must include a photo release for each child pictured in the photo

    Download Photo Release form (
    requires Adobe PDF Reader)

  • Photo releases can be downloaded from our website, signed and mailed in with your photos.

What kinds of photos work best? We can only consider high quality photos that are well-focused and have a clear subject of interest. Close ups of 1-3 children at play (indoor or outdoors) is ideal. Ask yourself if the picture tell a story? Is something interesting happening? Portraits are cute, but children engaged in activity is more interesting.

We may not be able to use every picture we receive. Photos will be selected based on their composition and to reflect the diversity in Alameda County. Pictures may be cropped to maximize composition.
